- Any door works. Meierstraße 7 — the sign with the red emblem is the front.
- Shoes
- There is a shoe rack at the entrance. Socks are handy.
- Clothing
- As you would dress for any place of worship: shoulders and knees covered. In the prayer hall, women cover their hair — a scarf is enough.

Short and simple
Islam is faith in the one God — Allah in Arabic. Muslims follow the Qur'an and the example of the Prophet Muhammad. Daily life rests on five pillars: the declaration of faith, prayer five times a day, fasting in Ramadan, giving to those in need, and the pilgrimage to Mecca for all who can afford it.
Can I just walk in if I'm not Muslim?
Yes. The door is open every day. Take your shoes off at the entrance, and if a prayer is in progress, wait at the back until it is over.
Do I have to wear a headscarf?
Not for visiting the building. In the prayer hall, women cover their hair — bringing a scarf is enough.
What happens if a prayer is going on?
Nothing you need to worry about. Stay at the back or sit by the wall, and don't walk in front of people who are praying. A prayer usually only takes a few minutes.
